Why evening listing works

Vinted's feed is sorted heavily by recency, so a new listing gets its largest burst of exposure in the first few hours after posting. Listing when the most people are browsing means that burst lands on the largest possible audience.

Browsing peaks after work and after dinner. A listing posted at 9am has already decayed by the time the evening audience arrives; the same listing posted at 7pm catches them at full visibility.

Best days of the week

Sunday evening is consistently the strongest window — people are home, planning the week, and browsing. Monday and Tuesday evenings follow.

Friday and Saturday evenings are the weakest, for the obvious reason that people are out. If you only list a few items a week, put them on a Sunday.

Season beats time of day, by a lot

A coat listed at the perfect hour in June will still sit for months. The same coat listed at a mediocre hour in October sells in days. Seasonal timing is worth more than every other timing decision combined.

List ahead of the weather rather than with it. Buyers shop for coats when the first cold week arrives, which means the listing needs to already exist.

• Rain jackets and transitional layers — February to April
• Swimwear and festival clothing — from early May
• Party and occasion dresses — from mid November
• Children's school uniform — late July into August

Spreading listings over time

Because each listing gets its own recency burst, posting items one at a time across several days produces far more total visibility than posting them all at once.

If you have twenty items ready, listing three or four each evening over a week gives you a week of continuous presence in the feed instead of a single spike.
